Funny and insightful parsing of Apple’s letter regarding iPhone 4 reception issues.
It must be where I live, but I haven’t experienced any reception issues on my new iPhone, even when I wasn’t using a bumper. My call quality has actually become better. Still, I’m amused at the PR dancing and missteps.

You would think that companies would be smarter after all the crap people gave Microsoft about “phoning home.” Admittedly, the overwhelming majority of companies will do what ever they can get away with, but you would think Apple should have known someone would figure this out pretty quickly.
The fact that it specifically sends back your financial/banking habits and potentially personal browsing patterns, has an audacity that should be raising shouts of indignation. It remains to be seen how the owners of the so-called “Jesus-phone” will react.
