Love this breakdown of the typical incendiary blog post, and the comments are the icing on the cake. Worth a look if you’re in need of a few chuckles.

I wasn’t originally going to do a link entry on this, but I’ve watched this hilarious presentation a ton of times, and it just keeps getting funnier. This is a link to a video in which Mann presents for a SXSW panel on “Worst Website Ever”.
Coultonfield

This is a pretty funny parody of “Cloverfield” with Paul and Storm trying to get way from a monster, played by Jonathan Coulton.

If you use Twitter at all you would have heard about the disaster that was Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s keynote at SXSW. If you missed all the hoopla, here is a nice summary with a priceless photo of the audience at the bottom.

Via James Bennett:
Some very clever uses of code in blog titles. My favorite belongs to Charles Miller: tail -f /dev/mind > blog.
Coding Horror: Douchebaggery

This is a pretty funny post by Jeff Atwood reacting to some of David Heinemeier Hansson’s inflammatory comments regarding Windows users. Atwood comes close to crossing a line in it, but succeeds in being a well-reasoned rebuttal with a hell of a punchline.

I promise this will be the last Microsoft/Yahoo thing I link to for a while, but this just struck me as really funny.
Monkey Boy’s three-legged race

Great piece from FSJ on the potential Microsoft-Yahoo merger. “It’s like taking the two guys who finished second and third in a 100-yard dash and tying their legs together and asking for a rematch, believing that now they’ll run faster.”
Read it, it’s wonderful and hilarious.
2008 Predictions | 1938 Media
Bookmarked via Diigo on Monday, December 31, 2007 @ 08:59 CST by Daniel Andrlik
Hilarious list of predictions for 2008 from Loren Feldman of 1938 Media. Some I agree with, some are obviously just for laughs. One that’s scary, but that he’s probably right on is his statement regarding the FCC.
Make sure you watch the whole video because his last point is the one that everyone forgets, but is by far the most important of all.
xkcd - Python

This comic pretty much sums up why I love programming in Python. Well that and the title tag for the comic, which reads, “I wrote 20 short programs in Python yesterday. It was wonderful. Perl, I’m leaving you.”
Unfortunately, the module for antigravity isn’t in the standard library yet, so he must be using a third-party module.
