This is probably more common in bigger cities, and it is way too early to point fingers here, but this is really depressing. I know a few people who work over at 911 dispatch, and using them as examples I can say whoever the dispatcher who took this call is, they are most likely torn up inside. Just as I’m sure the victim’s family and friends are outraged. This is bad, no matter how you look at it.

You would think that companies would be smarter after all the crap people gave Microsoft about “phoning home.” Admittedly, the overwhelming majority of companies will do what ever they can get away with, but you would think Apple should have known someone would figure this out pretty quickly.
The fact that it specifically sends back your financial/banking habits and potentially personal browsing patterns, has an audacity that should be raising shouts of indignation. It remains to be seen how the owners of the so-called “Jesus-phone” will react.
