I found this article on Wired.com all about research into human lifestyles using customized life styles to store data on social networking, sleep patterns and other activities. The author suggests in the near future we will be data mining, archiving and distributing all aspects of our lives. In fact, later this year a service called MetroSpark will launch which allows for social networking and introduction based off of location and stored interests delivered to your cell phone.
I find it interesting how these days we are increasingly using technology for social connections; even in the same geographical locations. Of course, I’m also the geek that got excited about the the wild and unsubstantiated speculation regarding Google Grid.
