To my ten readers (I may have counted a few of you twice to make myself feel cooler :) ) : Sorry about the general lack of posting lately. I have been super busy getting CreepySleepy.

I have been going in cycles with my blogging and have been in a downturn of late. I actually am working on a few interesting entries for you folks, but I’ve just been so damn busy and distracted.

I swear I am not dead. I’ve just been very busy with some additional coding and tech geek experiments and haven’t had time to write. I promise to get back in on the posting fun for you tomorrow.

Wow, I’ve been slacking with this blog the last few days, but with good reason. I had a very busy weekend and now I am ill. This weekend I had my normal crazy work schedule, although the multiple viewings of Serenity did mess up my sleep schedule a bit.

Lately I have noticed when accessing my blog that occasionally links or text in italics gets compressed against other text. It doesn’t consistently happen, and ceases upon a page refresh. I am currently trying to figure out what the hell is causing it so I can stop it, but of course now I’m wondering if this is just happening to me and if this is a quirk of my browser.

The following is a Public Service Announcement. For the love of God, please write the IDv3 tags for your files consistently! It is driving me absolutely nuts going through and correcting your tags by hand every time I download one of your files.

I am an adult, and I can admit a mistake. When I first signed up for webhosting with Logjamming, I was really excited. I liked their personality and I dug the idea of working with an independent hosting service catered to creative geeks.

Hmm, yes. I have changed my theme yet again. Almost immediately after saying I was going to stick with the last one. The last theme, while I liked it visually, it was just a little too fluid, which seemed to make the posts blend together in a weird way.

Whew! I have finally moved all of my Blogger entries and loaded them onto the MySQL server. It took many hours of tedious copy and paste work, but I think it is worth it to bring all that stuff with me to my new home.

You observant folk may have noticed that my blog now identifies me by my real name. Now, those who know me might be a little surprised by this because they are familiar with what a private person I am, but I say screw that.

My friend Christina was just accusing me of being deliberately mysterious. Admittedly, this is sometimes the case. The important thing is that Christina has officially appointed me Minister of Intrigue. How sweet is that?

It was hot and miserable on the road at work today. I set up detours, dealt with summer school kids and was still somehow bored the entire time. I didn’t even have the energy left to watch all of Princess Mononoke (which I bought on DVD today), and that is sad.

It is strange that I haven’t been blogging more now that I am no longer a data gypsy. I think it probably has to do with the fact that I’ve been working on some fiction recently so when I feel compelled to write I work on that.
