There’s a well known theory that keeping a journal, or at least writing daily, improves your day-to-day life. My anecdotal experience has shown that to be the case for me as well.

I am not naturally a very organized person, which is something I’ve always struggled with. My tendency, from an early age, has always been to try and hold all my responsibilities, appointments and tasks within my head.

This is a good post by Nicholas Carr, rebutting Michael Krigsman’s argument that somehow enterprise applications cannot and should not be engaging. This echoes Anil Dash’s sentiments, and something I’d like to see taken seriously by the companies developing corporate software.
